Soviet M44 Description:

Manufactured from 1943 to 1948 at the Izhevsk arsenal.
Manufactured in 1944 at the Tula Arsenal.
Unlike any of the other Soviet carbines, the M44 has a permanently attached side-folding bayonet.
Also manufactured by multiple countries after World War Two ended

Weight -- 9 lbs.(4.1 kg)
Length (over all) -- 40" (101.6 cm)
Barrel Length -- 20 1/4" (51.4 cm)
Stock length -- 36 1/2" (92.7 cm)
Sight Radius -- 16 1/2" (41.9 cm)

This is a heavily modified Soviet Model 1944 Mosin Nagant Carbine. It started out it's life as you see above but since then things have gone screwy. This is my brothers rifle, all hate mail can be sent his way.

The biggest changes are the stock, gone is the wood in favor for the ATI Monte Carlo synthetic stock which is lighter, more ergonomic, and somewhat free floats the barrel. The bolt knob is now an angled knob from Rock Solid Industries. The original knob was cut off and the new one was welded in place and then mated by hand (looks very clean). Also has Rock Solid Industries Scope rail on top which is bolted to the receiver and is, no pun intended, rock solid.

shooting the rifle is awesome, very smooth polished action is fast and easy to run. ejects most ammo great and shoots quite well depending on your ammo. 1MOA with PPU Match 182g, check the video.
