AI platform identifies patient-specific drug combinations for treatment of lymphoma

Описание: A new artificial intelligence platform is being touted as key for patients whose lymphomas have relapsed. It is called the quadratic phenotypic optimisation platform (QPOP). Small tumour samples are collected from patients and incubated in a lab with 12 selected drugs used for lymphoma. After 72 hours, the QPOP ranks the potential response of the cancer cells to more than 750 distinct drug combinations, using up to four of those 12 possible drugs. Dr Anand Jeyasekharan, Consultant at the Department Haemotology-Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore, shared more details.
