Evangelia Tsiantzi Mante was born in Greece.
A member of a musical family, she grew up on the island of Santorini and is currently a
student at the Music School of Rhodes.
She began piano lessons at the age of 5 with her father George Tsiantzis, who instilled
in her a love for the piano and continues to guide her in expressing her innate
musicality, while helping her evolve both technically and artistically.
Education
• 2020-2021: Studied with the world-renowned pianist Cyprien Katsaris.
• 2021: Was admitted to the prestigious Schola Cantorum de Paris, where she
studied under the distinguished professor Agathe Leimoni. She earned the
“Diplôme Supérieure” and “Diplôme de Virtuosité” with the highest
distinction.
• Evelyn regularly participates in masterclasses and private lessons with top
pianists, including Cyprien Katsaris, Cristina Ortiz, Jerome Lowenthal, Kevin
Kenner, Hung-Kuan Chen, Alexander Shtarkman, Pavlina Dokovska, Raquel
Boldorini, Domna Evnouchidou, George-Emmanouel Lazaridis, Vassilis
Varvaresos, Maria Asteriadou, Grigoris Zamparas, Michele Rossetti,
Massimiliano Ferrati and others.
Performances & Festivals
• Carnegie Hall, New York: Performed twice, in December 2024 and January
2025, as the 1st Prize winner in international piano competitions in the USA.
• Gina Bachauer International Music Association: Was selected to perform at a
concert for rising young soloists at the Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall.
• Piano Days @Megaron 2024: Participated in the concert series at the Megaron –
The Athens Concert Hall.
• Concerts: Has given recitals at prominent venues in Greece and abroad,
including Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos, Nafplio, Korinthos, Santorini, Rhodes
and Heraklion, Crete, where she performed at the Aegean Arts International
Festival.
• Scheduled performances for 2025 include recitals in New York, Paris,
Thessaloniki, Athens and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
Awards & Distinctions
At the age of 17, Evelyn has already won 18 First Prizes and 12 Special Prizes in highly
competitive international piano competitions, judged by distinguished pianists such as
Jacques Rouvier, Jerome Lowenthal, Meng-Chieh Liu, and professors from top music
institutions like Juilliard, Curtis Institute of Music, Yale University, Eastman School
of Music, Manhattan School of Music, University of Massachusetts-Boston, New
England Conservatory, Chopin University of Warsaw, Mozarteum Salzburg,
Gnessin School of Music, Royal Academy, Musikhochschule Cologne, and others.
The feedback from judges at international competitions regarding Evelyn is exceptional:

She has received a total of 47 major international piano awards from the United
States, Canada, Russia, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, England, Italy, Spain,

Recognition
• Special Diplomas: Was awarded the Special Diploma for Outstanding
Interpretation of Chopin's Work by the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Warsaw.
• Local Honor: Was recognized by the Municipality of Thira (Santorini) for her
exceptional achievements.
Evangelia Tsiantzi Mante has recently been accepted with major scholarships to
leading U.S. conservatories, including the Mannes School of Music under the guidance
of Jerome Rose and the Manhattan School of Music in New York under the guidance of
Olga Kern, where she will continue her studies starting in the fall of 2025.
