Inside Seattle's "Autonomous Zone"

Описание: Seattle’s “Autonomous Zone,” also known as CHOP (Capitol Hill Organized Protest), has witnessed a peaceful #BlackLivesMatter protest since June 8. Korean American business owner Peter Pak who runs Omabap, a Korean restaurant in the heart of CHOP, gives us a deeper look into the six-block zone and describes how the community is stepping up to support the protestors, including Pak's team handing out free food. He sheds light on witnessing protestors running from tear gas, having necessary conversations with employees and donating resources as a restaurant. Despite all the hardships 2020 has brought, the business owner is continually giving back to the community and is helping justice, and free food, be served.
