A couple of years ago I was playing with an OP-Z, which is this tiny portable sequencer/sampler, and I came up with a very unique loop. It had this very dark but groovy feeling to it and I couldn’t help but immerse myself in it.
I started imagining a whole story in my head. Pretty much a full feature film… with plot, characters, locations, everything. As I lived that tale in my head, the song started to evolve and compose itself. It took me a very long time to finish it, but eventually I did, and here it is:
Blooming Fears
A story about fighting and having the strength and courage to be yourself.
Going against the crowd, steering apart from it, is without a doubt one of the most terrifying things one may experience in life.
