As millions of americans are still waiting to receive their initial $1200 stimulus checks.. House speaker nancy pelosi is already talking about ANOTHER bill on top of this one with an estimated price of ONE TRILLION DOLLARS.... in addition to the already signed 2.2 TRILLION and she says in this next one there should be additional direct payments to individuals, extended unemployment insurance, more resources for food stamps and more funds for the Payroll Protection Plan that provides loans to small businesses... .. in this video I'll go over what this next stimulus bill might look like and some more information on whether you can expect another check on top of the $1200 checks.... and also somewhat of a time line of when it might come to fruition.
Alright so everyone is still waiting on the first check to deposit into their bank account or show up in their mailbox and it's frustrating... but that's just the way it goes... in 2001 when there was a crisis and a similar stimulus plan took place it took about 6 weeks and in 2008 after the financial crisis... the stimulus checks took 3 months... not much you can do other than wait and hope for the best... and at least give the government the benefit of the doubt that they're dealing with sending money to millions of people around the whole country and trying to do it as accurately as possible... I can't imagine what it's like to run an operation this massive... anyway... so while waiting for the first check to come... let's talk about the possibilities of another check to come.... House speaker Nancy Pelosi already said that she wants another bill and President trump seems to be in agreement as he said on Monday at a white house news conference... “We could very well do a second round,” ....... “It is absolutely under serious consideration.” this is great news... as far as what sort of benefits we could see in this next bill... speaker Pelosi said she wants  extended unemployment insurance, more resources for food stamps and more funds for the Payroll Protection Plan that provides loans to small businesses,,, and more importantly.. additional direct payments to individuals.. this is the important piece of information since it means more money directly to you ontop of the $1200 you should be getting soon...This second round of stimulus money seems to be getting support from several people... senator marco Rubio said in an interview with CNBC that "the appetite is there"... "I think everyone I've talked to recognizes we're going to have to go back to work and do more, and probably more than once"... That more than once phrase sounds a bit of a reach but given the current circumstances who know...
So how much can this next check be and who will get it... as of now there doesn't seem to be any indication... but just to go back to the original bill introduced by the democrats.. they were looking to give $1500 for every person with a social security number including children but limited to 3 children... which is different from the bill that passed which is $1200 per person and $500 per child without a limit... so for a couple with 3 children under the original bill.. they would've gotten $7,500... now they'll be getting $3900... so we can assume that maybe $1500 at a minimum... this is just a guessAs far as when this bill will pass... speaker Pelosi actually said she wants it done this month.. However, the house won't be back in session until april 20th at the earliest.... so I personally don't see this happening this quickly but we'll have to wait and see
