*장충동 먹자(족발)골목은 서울에서 꼭 가봐야 할 먹거리 골목 중 하나다. 장충동이 족발로 유명해진 이유는, 당시 대부분의 스포츠 경기는 장충체육관에서 진행되었고, 경기나 공연이 끝난 후 바로 옆의 족발집으로 직행했다고 한다. 장충체육관을 많은 이들이 찾으면서 족발골목이 더불어 활성화가 된 것이었다. 그때부터 지금까지 수십 년 동안 푸짐하고 맛 좋은 족발로 사람들의 변치 않는 사랑을 받고 있다. 족발 거리에서 족발과 함께 나오는 빈대떡과 파전 등 다른 음식도 즐겨볼 만 하다.
*Jangchung-dong Food (Jokbal) Alley is one of the many must-visit alleyways in Seoul. Jangchung-dong became famous for its jokbal (Pig's feet) because of Jangchung Arena. In the past, most sporting events or concerts were held at Jangchung Arena. This lead to an influx of people who'd go and stop by nearby jokbal restaurants after the match or concert, eventually coming to create what is known as Jokbal Alley today. This area continues to attract many visitors even today with its delicious jokbal and side menus like bindae-tteok (Mung Bean Pancake) and pajeon (Green Onion Pancake).
