I lost 100 lbs on my own at 14. These were the three main things I did that worked 👇
1️⃣ walked almost everyday. A mile out and back (2 miles total). It was the only form of exercise I did at first. Within the first two weeks it helped me lose 10 lbs. walking is the best for of exercise for weight loss and weight maintenance.
2️⃣ I made a rule for myself early on to workout at least 3 days a week for at least 30 mins. This was almost always running (after I progressed from walking) or doing a workout I found in fitness magazines. I was very good about sticking to this rule.
3️⃣ I didn’t cut out all bad stuff from my diet right away. But I did make a point to eat better, right away. I started by switching out bad stuff for better stuff. Like wheat bread instead of white bread, grilled chicken instead of fried, and yogurt instead of ice cream. I made a consistent effort to get better at eating each week/month.
