Cordyline australis ‘Red Star’ is originally from New Zealand and is a compact plant, with evergreen, thin, flat long, bronzy -red leaves. It’s perfect for growing in pots in small space or a sunny border. It prefers a sun or dappled shade in well-drained soil and will grow to 3 m x 2 m
In summer it will produce branches of sweet-smelling, ivory-white flowers, which the bees love. In autumn the birds will feast on the berries.
