3D Volumetric Capture from $20 Raspberry Pis

Описание: Here is a project to produce volumetric 3D data from $20 Raspberry Pi cameras. Volumetric data can be used in immersive environments, virtual reality, augmented reality and are fully 3D. By taking this approach, we present a step towards democratizing this kind of data.

The work is from Character Animation and Simulation research group at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies, headed by Ari Shapiro. This project spearheaded by visiting scholar, Andrea Boensch, with advice from Andrew Jones.
