Hi,
How to make delicious dessert? This is my favorite recipe French cake “Napoleon”. It’s really delicious and super easy recipe.
ALL INGREDIENTS
400 g flour for dough
30-35 g flour for creme
125 ml cold water
5 g salt
200 g freeze butter for dough
50 g soft butter for cream
1 litre milk
150 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
Step 1. FRENCH PUFF PASTRY
1. Mix well flour and salt.
2. Grate frozen butter.
3. Mix butter with flour to make a small crumb.
4. Add cold water and mix all ingredients together into a dough.
5. Divide the dough into 10 equal parts and form dough balls.
6. Put the dough in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
7. Roll out the crust between two sheets of baking paper.
8. Preheat the oven to 190 C (374 F) and bake it for 6-7 min.
Step 2. CREME PATISSERIE
1. Egg yolks, vanilla sugar and sugar whisk until the mixture becomes pale in color.
2. Add flour and whisk it.
3. Bring the milk (1 liter) to the boil and add some milk to the eggs, mix it well!
4. Add the remaining milk and mix well.
5. Pour everything back into the saucepan and cook over a very low heart, whisking continuously until the cream has thickened.
6. Pour the cream into a bowl.
7. Add 50 g soft butter and mix it.
8. Leave the cream to cool at room temperature.
You can cover the cream with clingfilm directly on the surface.
Step 3. NAPOLEON
1. 3-4 table spoons of cream for each crust. Make the cake of 9 crusts.
2. Cover the top cake with the remaining cream.
3. Grind the remaining crust into crumbs.
4. And sprinkle the cake on top.
Put the cake in the fridge for a few hours.
