Haas Automation offers its ST-15Y series turning centers designed from the ground up to provide setup flexibility, rigidity and high thermal stability. The ST-15Y is a small footprint, big-bore lathe with a generous work envelope. The addition of Y-axis and live tooling enables milling, drilling and tapping for increased machine capabilities. One big change is the addition of BMT 45 tooling on the turret which is said to improve space versus VDI.
