NO GO PRO MAX LENS MOD? NO WORRIES! Max Lens Mode STILL WORKS!

Hey guys, I went ahead and bought the #gopromaxlensmod and before it has arrived I checked the Max Lens Mode and noticed that it works without actually having the mod - including the Horizon Lock - I'm certain in the past when I have tried this it did not work, so has something changed?

I expect the Max Lens Mod will produce a wider shot, but it is still great to know the Max Lens Mode works, with horizon lock, with the standard lens fitted
