Electric Chainsaw Mill (DIY) - Makita UC3551A, 2000W

Описание: I made this solution to saw my own boards relatively easily and cheaply. The saw and jig do their job, but it takes some time, so it's only suitable for small projects.

There's not much information in the video, so hopefully, this will answer some questions:

Two drilled 1 cm holes in the chainsaw bar, spaced 23 cm apart.
Two 1 cm threaded rods with four washers and four nuts hold the guide board in place.
Two copper pipes (diameter 1,5 cm) are placed between the chainsaw bar and the guide board; the length of the pipes determines the final thickness of the board. I made two pairs to be able to cut boards 2 cm and 5 cm thick.
I use a log splitting chain called: Stihl 3/8''P Picco Micro (PMX), 52 dl, 1.3mm.
The maximum width of the finished board is 21 cm.
The log I'm sawing is fresh from the woods.
