Today we are going to check out the Hamia Class. An early version of the Cardassian Galor!

We shall put it against the Romulan Cricket, We'll then put the Original Constitution Class against it.

Finally Sulu will face 3 of them in the USS Excelsior.

In the first half of the 23rd century, the Cardassians had already spread across neighbouring star systems in search of fertile worlds capable of sustaining their growing population which, in previous centuries, had suffered greatly due to a lack of natural resources.

To speed up the transport of these valuable raw materials between planets, Cardassian engineers focused their efforts on developing ships with far greater cargo capacity than usual, along with the necessary weaponry to deter any attempts at piracy.

Thus was born the Hamia-class ship ("Protector"), which quickly became the pride of the Cardassian race, symbolizing the strength and unity of their people in building a better future for all.
