I unraveled a damaged cashmere sweater and knitted a polo shirt for my nephew.
To give the collar firmness and structure, I added Milano rib to the neckline area.
The shape and balance of the collar and body were carefully designed for both comfort and presence.
Knitwear, whether machine-made or hand-knitted, can always return to yarn.
Even this piece can be unraveled and reborn again in the future.

穴あきのカシミヤニットを解いて、甥っ子のためにニットポロシャツをリメイクしました。
襟の立ち具合やシルエットにこだわって、襟腰にミラノリブを入れ、しっかりとしたハリ感と立体感を持たせています。
全体のサイズ感とバランスも細かく調整しながら、家庭用編み機で一枚一枚編みあげました。
ニットは既製品でも手編みでも、ほどけばまた毛糸になります。
このニットも、将来サイズが合わなくなったら、また解いて新しい1着へ。
