Here are 13 red flags to look for when vetting your kink educators & BDSM experts 🚩

It’s important to keep in mind though, red flags are subjective too. There is no ironclad way to evaluate the authenticity of a BDSM educator. When may be a red or green flag for me might not be for you. And my threshold for red flags might be different than yours too. Regardless, these 13 things are good things to look for and help you decide for yourself which information seems legitimate.

One of the best things you can do is remember to gather info from a diverse group of kink educators with varying backgrounds and perspectives. No matter how “good” a single educator is -- BDSM, and this especially goes for the soft skills, is something we can never know enough about and should never stop learning about. And learning from multiple perspectives is an essential piece of that lifelong learner mindset.
