Every week, Team Protocase is bringing you a Proto Tech Tip video, where we'll give an informative look at a particular aspect of sheet metal fabrication and CNC Machining.
This week, Brian from our Engineering & Design Services team talks about the minimum wall thickness of your custom milled enclosure. Most times, when engineers are designing CNC machined parts and enclosures, they are striving to make features and walls as thin as possible for part/component compatibility and lighter weight. However, as a general rule of thumb, CNC machined walls should have a minimum width of 0.06".
