Remondis Superior Pak Isuzu FL

Описание: In this front loader episode we watch a Remondis unit flip some 1.5m, 3m and 4.5m containers at 4 job sites in western Sydney, taken on a Friday morning in 2016 when the truck was a bit over a year old. This Isuzu FYJ with a Superior Pak Pegasus body is run by one of the subcontractors the company has emptying their bins across the metropolitan area, thus the spare tyre hanging off the rear door and the creative rego ISTINK =] There has been quite a variety of front lift body and cab chassis choices in the Remondis fleet over the years, but in most recent times the machines have been more European with Merc Benz and MAN trucks in particular. There is one other Superior Pak Isuzu in the fleet which is near identical to the shown truck, although the difference is that it has a larger 35m body and is a triaxle! The mentioned truck was initially owned and operated by a subcontractor to Watts Waste, which was bought out by Remondis, and therefore this triaxle became an inheritance.

You may notice the chunky forks attached to the arms on this truck, which are much thicker than standard and accommodate the weighing system used by the company, normally requiring the arms to stop mid cycle, but were out of action at the time. This is also a later model Superior Pak front lift, which is easy to distinguish by the different exterior mounting of the tailgate cylinder, and something much newer than all the other Pegasus models I’ve videoed in the past (except for the Country Waste Systems DAF). Something else we’re seeing in this video is an 8x4 Isuzu, which was previously not a product of the Isuzu truck range, but fast forward to today and there are plenty of their twin steer models seen as front lifts and hook lifts around Australia, so a successful introduction by the manufacturer. Also you might realise there isn’t much excitement or brightness to this truck, as Remondis hasn’t ever been big on signage for their C&I fleets, never really had the biggest company stickers either!
