A military airfield in Primorsko‑Akhtarsk used for launching Shahed drones, and an electronics plant in Penza supplying Russia’s military-industrial complex, were also among the targets. Regional officials reported at least three fatalities in Penza, Rostov, and Samara regions, with additional injuries. These strikes underscore Ukraine’s expanding long‑range drone capability and appear to be a direct response to recent Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities.
