Day 13: “Trust” | Can I Truly Trust God’s Plans for me?

I'm afraid that if I trust God he will take me someplace I don't want to go. What can I do about this fear?

DEVOTIONAL:

God's plans are always good plans. His desires for you will fulfill and satisfy you. If your mind and heart are truly in tune with His will, you won't be going where you don't want to go. He changes your heart before He adjusts your future plans. Will you let Him change your heart? Since God alone knows the future, who can plan your future better than He?

PERSONAL TAKEAWAY:

Trusting in God is when EVERYTHING changes.
I always believed in God, but when it comes to trusting in God—that’s a different story.

It’s like the story of the tightrope walker in Canada.

There was a professional tightrope walker in Canada that would tightrope over the Niagara Falls with items in his hand.

He amassed hundreds and thousands of people to come watch him. He never failed and everyone believed in him.

So one day, he said to the crowd, you have all seen me do wonderful things and not fail!
“Who believes I can carry a person across?!”
They all screamed WE BELIEVE!!!!

So then he ask
“Who will let me carry them across?”
And the crowd went silent…

You may believe in God, shoot even the demons believe, but it’s when you trust God that everything changes.
