In this updated training series for the Su25T, I bring my highly popular training series for the Frogfoot into the latest version of DCS World. This lesson focuses on the basics: loading your plane with ordinance, starting the plane up from cold and dark, and finally taxiing to the runway.

The original purpose for this training series was to put together a set of easy to follow instructional videos to link to my friends that were interested in getting started with DCS World yet were slightly intimidated by the complexity of the simulator. The Su25T (and all of the Flaming Cliffs 3 planes) is fairly simple to pick up and get acquainted with, and it comes with the base installation at no additional cost. Very quick, affordable, and easy way to test the waters of DCS World.

This series is being produced in parallel to a training series on the A-10C Warthog. You can find those videos elsewhere on my channel.

While the Su25T Training series will be produced using zero peripherals other than a mouse and keyboard, I still highly recommend investing in at least a decent joystick if you plan on pursuing flight simulators as a hobby. My joystick of choice as an entry level option is the Thrustmaster T16000M Joystick (link to my Amazon affiliate store is below). It also has a throttle that you can pair it with; however, while it will increase your immersion I don't think it's entirely necessary to get both.

This video uses a custom made mission with a single plane starting at Kobuleti airfield on the Caucasus map.
