The Swiss national final for the 1975 Eurovision Song Contest took place on 12 February, 1975. Three hosts, Heidi Abel, Claude Evelyne, and Daniela Grigioni, presented the contest, and seven entries competed.
The results of the selection were announced on 21 February and were decided by the public via postcard (60%) and a press and "expert" jury (40%). The winner was "Mikado", written and performed by Simone Drexel.
On 22 March, the contest was held in Stockholm, Sweden. The song was conducted by Peter Jacques and Simone Drexel was accompanied by 3 backing vocals. At the close of the voting, Switzerland finished 6th place with 77 points. They got 12 points from Italy.
Of all of the songs in the selection, 5 were released commercially around the time of the selection. Henri wouldn't release his song until 2016 under his own interpretation. Only one song isn't available anywhere online, that being "Le chercheur d'or" performed by Pierre Alain. He never recorded the song, and it is unknown if the song's performance was archived either by the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation or a radio/television viewer.
