Cocktails using Sparkling Wine - which is best?!

Описание: Want a Sparkling Wine Cocktail? French 75 or Italian favourite, the Hugo? Either way Brodie and I have you covered!

French 75:
Ingredients:
30ml (1oz) gin
15ml (½ oz) lemon juice
5-10ml (⅙ - ⅓ oz) sugar syrup or a tsp powdered sugar
Around 90ml (3oz) sparkling wine

Method:
Prepare your lemon twist. Add everything except the champagne to your shaker tins, fill with ice and give a short sharp shake. Double strain into a chilled flute glass and top with bubbles of your choice. Give your twist a sharp fold over the top to expel the oils and balance on edge of glass to garnish. Enjoy!

Hugo:
Ingredients:
30ml (1oz) elderflower liqueur
Around 60ml (2oz) sparkling wine
Around 30ml (1oz) soda water
Mint to garnish
Lemon and lime wheels to garnish

Method:
Add all of your ingredients to your mixing glass and test for balance. Add mint leaves, citrus wheels and ice. Stir and garnish with a mint sprig. Enjoy!
