📋 RECIPE & INGREDIENTS
Makes: 4 Servings Prep time: 20 mins | Bake time: 30-40 mins
Ingredients:
•4-5 slices of bread of choice (this one is similar to the one I used https://a.co/d/5OaLjPQ )
•3 eggs (or equivalent egg whites)
•3/4 cup greek yogurt
•1/2 cup milk or protein shake + a little extra for drizzle https://a.co/d/4oqu26j
•1/2 tsp cinnamon
•2 scoops protein powder;
1 scoop Apple Pie from Legion (code 2XW https://legionathletics.com/products/... )
1 Scoop Angle Food Cake from Devotion Nutrition (code AMYS232 https://devotion.rfrl.co/9881p )
•1-2 chopped apples
•1/4 cup slivered almonds
•Flaky sea salt - I used Osmo Kitchen Cinnamon Bun https://www.osmokitchen.com/2EXPLOREW...
Instructions:
Preheat: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix the Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, milk, cinnamon, and protein powders. Tip: Reserve a small amount of protein powder and milk if you want to make a thick glaze for the top!
Prep the Base: Chop your bread into cubes and place them in a baking dish.
Combine: Mix the chopped apples and nuts with the bread, then pour your batter over the top. Ensure all bread is coated.
Top it off: Sprinkle with extra almonds and flaky sea salt if desired.
Bake: Place in the oven for 30-40 minutes. You'll know it's done when the center is fully set and no longer jiggles or has runny liquid.
Serve: Let cool slightly, top with your maple protein drizzle (or syrup), and enjoy!
