Summary: It is not easy to extract information related to higher levels of the orgchart for each employee in SuccessFactors (for example reporting on level 4 Manager for each employee).
Yes, the reporting module does it however it is not always easy to build and comes with limitation (for example 30 max objects in Stories). And sometimes the tools needed to build it are not activated for system administrators (Canvas, Stories, etc).
In the 20 minutes recording below we show how to get multi-level manager information for each employee in the company using MDF.
The MDF can be deleted once the issue has been identified and troubleshooted.
