How to Drill a Big Hole Through Metal with a Hand Drill

The task details as below:

Drilling 24mm hole for M24 bolt and nut
Metal Drill Bits Used: 8mm, 20mm and 24mm

Make sure to set the drill in "Drilling Mode".

The first step is to drill through the metal using the 8mm drill bit. This step is normally the most easiest one.

After that, use the 24mm drill bit to drill the surface of the metal plate.

Next, use the 20mm drill bit to drill.

Keep changing between 20mm and 24mm drill bit until fully drill through the iron metal plate.

I also found that the step triangle metal drill bit can help while drilling through the metal plate.
