My weekend went from bad to worse at the cabin!

Описание: I almost lost my Jeep the other day. While driving up to our off-grid cabin, I hit a patch of solid ice on my steep driveway and disaster struck. I lost traction and slid backward over 60 feet, narrowly avoiding a rollover that could have ended my Jeep—and maybe me.

In this video, I take you through the terrifying moment I lost control and the dangerous recovery process. Dealing with a bad back, I had to carefully reposition the Jeep on a slick incline just to get into a spot safe enough to install my ice chains without falling. If you live off-grid or drive in winter conditions, do not underestimate ice chains! Watch to see how I managed to save the Jeep and finally make it up the mountain safely.

But that's not all! I then tore a brake line in half, 250 miles from home with limited tools and very cold temps. I'll show you what I did to fix it in the field and explain that rather worrying drive out of the mountains and back home.
