Session Description:
This session is for everyone contemplating, preparing for, working on, or in the process of finishing their dissertation. In this second session of The Dissertation Preparation Series, Dr. Randy Larkins walks students through the essential elements of crafting a strong dissertation proposal. You will gain insight into writing Chapters I through III, including guidance on what content belongs in each section and how to organize your ideas clearly. The session also covers how to prepare for a successful dissertation proposal defense. Additionally, for students conducting research with human or animal participants, this video explains the process of submitting Internal Review Board (IRB) or Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) applications. This session offers valuable tools to move confidently from concept to proposal approval.
