What happens when an acrobatic artist builds his own robotic acrobat? And why did Daniel Simu do this?
The people he likes to train with are often on the other side of the world, injured or otherwise unable to be thrown through the air by Daniel. So he replaced them with a robot. AcRobot was first produced in 2022. Daniel designed, programmed and performed this piece himself, learning a lot about engineering in the process. It’s a work in progress! Daniel performed at the Zwarte Cross in 2025 and appeared on the TV shows Britain's Got Talent and Holland's Got Talant.
