The Sunyani Traditional Council has appealed for calm, peace, and unity between the Paramount Chief and the Queen Mother, as their grievances await determination by the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.
The call follows the intervention of the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, aimed at resolving the long-standing chieftaincy dispute in the area.
At a joint public engagement held in Sunyani, both traditional leaders agreed to withdraw all pending court cases.
