Vertrek bruinvis Sven / Harbour porpoise Sven is leaving

Описание: Hoera! Bruinvis Sven is onderweg naar huis!
Vandaag is het zover: bruinvis Sven mag weer terug naar zee! Sven werd op 19 maart op het strand van Texel gevonden en verbleef 7 maanden in het opvangcentrum van SOS Dolfijn, waar hij behandeld werd tegen diverse medische problemen. Inmiddels is hij weer helemaal gezond verklaard en is hij klaar voor een tweede kans terug in zee! Op dit filmpje is te zien hoe bruinvis Sven zojuist in het bassin werd gevangen en werd klaar gemaakt voor vertrek per dolfijnambulance. In Lauwersoog zullen zijn verzorgers samen met Sven op een boot stappen voor het laatste stukje van zijn reis. Later vandaag zullen we hier ook beelden van zijn vrijlating terug in zee tonen!

Hurray! Sven is on his way home!
Today is a big day: Harbour porpoise Sven is going back to sea! Sven was found on the beach of Texel on the 19th of March and he spent seven months in the rehabilitation center of SOS Dolfijn where he was treated for several medical problems. Recently he was declared healthy and he is ready for a second chance in the sea! In the video below you can see how porpoise Sven was caught in the pool, transferred to our special dolphin ambulance and how the ambulance went on its way towards the north. In Lauwersoog the animal caretakers will take Sven onto a boat for the last bit of his journey. Make sure you’ll check our sites again later today for more footage of Sven’s release into the wild!
