Segment 3 – Painting Light and Highlights | Edited Live Painting Demonstration
This is the third segment of my edited live painting demonstration. In this episode, I continue developing the light by first placing a soft glow of highlights, then carefully marking the corners of plane changes with brighter, more decisive accents.
You’ll see how highlights describe form, clarify structure, and strengthen the illusion of light on the surface. I also answer a viewer’s question about shadow temperature— discussing why shadows need to have warm and cool notes.
