School association in Tamil Nadu announce that all schools to be shut today.

In the aftermath of the clash between the police and students in Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu Private School Association has called for a state wide holiday. As per the notice issued by the organization, all private nursery, matriculation and CBSE schools in Tamil Nadu would be closed to mark their protest. The Directorate of Matriculation Examination, TN DGE, however, has warned against such action.
