“Anti-national”. “Pakistani”. When you take on a powerful institution at 18, the trolls come for you. But Sarthak Sidhant has a system and it’s more clever than you would expect.

In this clip, Sarthak reveals how he is protecting his mental health while being at the centre of one of India’s biggest education controversies. His approach? A tight circle of mentors who monitor, report, and block negativity, without even telling him about it. “If I comment on them (hateful posts), I give them reach,” he says. Instead, he has built what he calls a “positive echo chamber” around himself, letting the noise stay exactly where it belongs.

That’s not all. Sarthak also takes a characteristically calm dig at journalists who didn’t bother reading his blog before interviewing him, including one from a major national network who asked him what an RFP is. The sources for whatever he had written were attached at the bottom of the blog. But still they asked what his source was.
