IMPLEMENTATION OF SEARCH WARRANT IN BELGIUM STREET,
BARANGAY SUBA, CEBU CITY

At around 6:05 AM on May 14, 2021, operatives of PDEA Regional Office VII (PDEA RO VII) under the direct supervision of Director Levi S. Ortiz, implemented a search warrant in Belgium Street, Barangay Suba, Cebu City that led to the arrest of the following suspects identified as:

a. Jocelyn Primacio alias Joyce; and

b. Jimmy Gastador alias Dodong/Bay

Seized at the residence of the suspects, who are live-in partners, during the implementation of a search warrant were 17 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, weighing 509.4924 grams, with a market value of Php3,464,548.32.

A case for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, was filed against the suspects.

The information emanated from the report of a Confidential Informant (CI) regarding the alleged illegal activities of Primacio and Gastador keeping stocks of shabu in large quantities at their residence.

Upon verification of the information, PDEA RO VII recruited a person known to be close to the suspects, and with the fed reports, it was known that they utilize minors as drug couriers.

On that ground, PDEA Regional Office VII worked for the case build-up for the service of the search warrant against Primacio and Gastador, hence, successfully implemented.

Upon learning of the process of drug transactions made by the suspects, PDEA will continue to conduct investigation and extract information on the identities of their cohorts; and the sources of shabu for the neutralization of their drug dealings.
