DERELICT COTTAGE PARTY: BIG CHANNEL MEET UP | OUR OFF GRID HOMESTEAD

Описание: This week our derelict Irish cottage took on a completely new role - not a building site, not a renovation project, but a place to come together. We turned our off-grid Irish homestead into a party venue and invited some of the YouTube friends we’ve made along the way, many meeting face to face for the very first time.

With a glowing Derelict Chic sign, fairy lights strung through the cottage, candles flickering against old stone walls, and stories flowing freely, our long-abandoned cottage became something entirely different for one night. Laughter, shared experiences, renovation tales, near-misses and victories - all exchanged under one roof in rural Ireland.

This journey of Irish cottage renovation, off-grid living, and homestead rebuild can be tough, isolated, and demanding -which made this moment even more special. It reminded us why we started, who we’ve met along the way, and how community can grow in the most unexpected places. One derelict cottage, a group of like-minded people, and a night we won’t forget.

And yes… we’re already talking about doing it all again.
