In this video I discuss the following examples of drawing Lewis structure:
Water: H2O.
Carbon dioxide: CO2.
Triiodide: I3-.
Sulfate: SO42-
And several other examples.
Moreover, the exceptions to the octet rule were discussed in addition to determining the major contributor to the Lewis structure using the formal charges.
