Since my n54 engine lost compression in cylinder 3. I went ahead and bought a parts car 335i so I can harvest its engine to swap into mines. For the price I got the whole car, it was less than fixing the head on my current engine. Also it has 80K miles compared to my current engine which is at 166K. Now I have a spare block to build. I started to remove the engine from the donor car, and at about 85% completion. Currently stopped since I need to source an engine hoist.
