Short interview with Lubomyr Melnyk, in Balliol College, Oxford

Описание: During a fantastic 6-day moment (   • Lubomyr Melnyk - The Six Day Moment  ) Lubomyr Melnyk was in residence at Balliol College, delivering lectures, piano lessons and three phenomenally well-received concerts (with a fourth excursion for a concert in Cambridge), for perhaps one of the most important concert series of his life or career to date. Dozens upon dozens upon dozens thanked me for having organised it all and were moved to tears; the music landed well with the academic community there. The event was also very fulfilling for the local Ukrainian community, who provided a wonderful energy, and suitably fascinating and mind-blowing for the many students and average Oxonians who didn't know what to expect.

This was recorded during one of our afternoon chats after lunch, in the SCR green room of Balliol College.
