Do you know how to say left and right in Danish? A wonderful day at the beach or a miserable day on your feet, sweaty and exhausted, wondering how to even get back to the hotel might be determined by asking for directions. Believe me, I am aware! In my previous travels, I was usually too hesitant to ask natives for directions because I didn't even understand basic phrases like "go west" or "go straight ahead." The language barrier, not my ego, was what kept me back. Due to my poor sense of direction, I've found myself in some very awkward situations.
With that said fear not we have you covered. In this lesson we cover how to say 'I am lost,' 'Can you show me on a map?' and more so unlike me you will be prepared to ask the locals for help.
