Typhoon Utor wild chase

Описание: Typhoon Utor full chase video, from Hailing Island, China, August 15th 2013. I apologize for mixed quality of the video but I wasn't too well equipped..., was just there for fun but happened to quickly become a memorable event ! This was my first ever chase.

We were expecting a close approach of the eastern eyewall, instead scored a perfect hit, in full daylight. The sound during the strongest part of the storm was like a jet engine blowing full speed. Given the weakening trend by agencies, we were not expecting the second eyewall to be so wild, took us all by surprise. Whole building was swinging really hard at the height of the storm (20 floors).

According to local news, maximum sustained winds (2 min/average) were clocked at 90 knots, it's likely that 1 min sustained winds were at high end Category 2 or low end 3 (95 knots). Maximum reported gust was 120 knots and minimum pressure was 955 hpa at landfall. Yangjiang airport, 50.2 km to the NNE of our location, inland, recorded a minimum pressure of 973 hpa with 51 knots sustained 10-min NNE winds, so data seems to be accurate.
