I did a junkyard axle swap on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU so it could keep up with the wheeling i do!! The 14 bolt is a very strong axle. I am running a spool in mine, due to almost no options for selectable lockers.
Other reasons I chose this axle: 👇
very common axle. I can get parts for this at basically any parts store. Huge advantage for if I am on a wheeling trip and break something on the trails.
centered pumpkin, was easy to set up a 3 link with without running into anything. Also didn’t need to stretch the rear or go to a fuel cell to fit it.
can be upgraded to a 40 spline
