The Arnold A. Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies, Columbia University presents a discussion on the civil war in Syria with:
Adam Baczko, an Order, Conflict and Violence Fellow at Yale University, a PhD Student in Political Science at the EHESS in Paris and General Editor at Noria Research; Gilles Dorronsoro, professor of political science at the Sorbonne and non-resident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, author of "Afghanistan, Unending Revolution," Hurst and Columbia, 2005; and Arthur Quesnay is a PhD Student in Political Science at the Sorbonne, a Research Fellow at the French Institute for Near East (Ifpo) and an analyst at Noria Research. Moderated by Assistant Professor of International Affairs and SIWPS member Dipali Mukhopadhyay.
Together, they are currently finishing a forthcoming book on the Syrian Revolution and Civil War. They authored several article among which, "Building a State in Time of Civil War," Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, 2013 and "Between Al Qaeda and the Syrian Regime," New America Foundation, 2013.
