Описание: চলতি বছরের ২৩ অক্টোবর পূর্ণ হচ্ছে বরিশাল সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বর্তমান মেয়রের মেয়াদকাল। তাই নির্বাচনের জন্য প্রস্তুত হচ্ছে আওয়ামী লীগ। আর বিএনপিও আন্দোলনের পাশাপাশি মেয়র পদটি অক্ষুণ্ণ রাখতে প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছে। নির্বাচন কর্মকর্তারা বলছেন, ভোটকেন্দ্র নির্ধারণের কাজ চূড়ান্ত করার বিষয়টি শেষ পর্যায়ে রয়েছে।

The current mayor of Barisal City Corporation is being completed on October 23 this year. So Awami League is preparing for the elections. Besides, BNP is preparing to keep the post of mayor as well as the movement. Election officials say that finalizing the process of setting up a polling station is in the final stage.
