Описание: In a striking blend of modern design and engineering, a spiral staircase in Guangzhou has secured a place in the Guinness World Records as the tallest indoor double-helix staircase.

The structure is located inside the OneM Art Centre, a contemporary art hub created as part of the redevelopment of a former traditional computer mall. The staircase has become a centerpiece of the space, symbolizing Guangzhou’s urban renewal and its embrace of futuristic architecture.

Footage from Tuesday shows the staircase, modeled on a DNA double helix, featuring two independent staircases that spiral around each other without ever meeting. Illuminated by intense red neon lighting against a dark, industrial interior, the structure creates a surreal, cyberpunk-style atmosphere that has made it one of the city’s most photographed spots.
