Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos cleared Nancy Guthrie’s children and their spouses as suspects Monday, calling them “victims” and noting they have been fully cooperative throughout the 16-day investigation.
Forensic investigators are awaiting results from the national CODIS database after an unknown male’s DNA was found on a glove recovered two miles from the 84-year-old woman's home.
Detectives are tracing an Ozark Trail backpack seen on a masked suspect in surveillance footage, which Nanos said is sold exclusively at Walmart, as the FBI investigates a fourth reported ransom email. FOX 10's Justin Lum has the details.
