Thanks for waiting an extra week for this episode! Last week (in real time), we were riding across Iowa on the 50th anniversary of RAGBRAI, a two-part series we'll share next month. In this episode, we pick up where we left off as we make our way from Cape Breton to Prince Edward Island (PEI) and the Bay of Fundy to ride the tide—something we highly recommend when you visit Nova Scotia! This has been a wonderful season to share, mostly due to the hospitality of all the Nova Scotians we've met. We've said before that everywhere we travel is friendly, but people in certain parts of the world lead with a different type of friendliness. We've found Nova Scotia to be very much "my home is your home." Thanks to John & Krista Blaauwendraat for inviting us to their home and dairy farm, and to ride the tide with ​Shubie River Wranglers​. As it turns out, their kids are guides, making the experience even more personal and special. With the biggest tide in the world at 52 feet, riding the tide is a unique experience that we highly recommend when you visit Nova Scotia. There were many highlights from this season, but this just might be at the top of Caleb's list!
