On 27 January 2016 Young People in the Arts held a panel discussion on fundraising in the arts. Speakers Michelle Wright (Chief Executive, Cause4), Layla Moosavi (Fundraising consultant & trainer), and Matthew Bowcock, CBE (Arts Council England & Hazelhurst Trust) talked about the growing role arts fundraisers play in securing arts organisations’ futures and the skills the new generation of arts leaders and fundraisers will need to develop to deliver their organisations’ vision. The talk was chaired by Sarah Gee (Founder, Indigo Ltd) and was followed by a Q&A with the audience.
This was a partnership event with the Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy Programme and the Institute of Fundraising Cultural Sector Network, aiming to to develop a network of young fundraisers in London.
