Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how organizations solve problems, make decisions, and deliver value. At the same time, lean and continuous improvement principles remain the foundation for building adaptable, high-performing systems. This new series brings together leaders and practitioners from across the operational excellence community to explore where these two powerful forces meet—and how they can evolve in tandem.
Each session will feature prominent voices from both the AI and OpEx worlds, guided by an emcee who connects ideas, sparks dialogue, and draws out practical takeaways. Through real-world examples and candid discussions, you’ll walk away with actionable ideas for integrating AI into your lean journey.
To kick off the series, Purdue Professor Ali Shakouri and Toyota Production System Support Center President Jamie Bonini will present a case study on challenges and opportunities when applying the latest advances in artificial intelligence in a manufacturing setting.
